In my latest work, "City bares its fractured ribs," I delve into the anatomy of urban landscapes through the medium of oil on canvas, measuring 80cm x 105cm. The piece is an introspective exploration of the skeletal structure that underlies our cities, equating the exposed ribs of a body to the open girders of urban infrastructure.
The technique employed is a meticulous layering of oil paints, applying a spectrum of strokes. The palette is deliberately constrained to hues reminiscent of both human tissue and rusted metal. On the canvas, the eye may discern what could be interpreted as the exposed ribs of an urban giant.
This piece is not a literal translation of form but an invitation to look beyond the surface, to the architecture of existence itself.
